The Simple Golf Swing is an ebook designed to teach you how to have a golf swing that provides power, accuracy and consistency. It guarantees to help you shave 7-12 strokes off your score in 2 weeks.
The book and techniques were designed by David Nevogt, a man who really knows his golf. The instructions are set out very well and are easy to understand, and are superbly accompanied by diagrams. In performing the set of drills as outlined in the book, you will quickly learn the techniques needed to improve your game. It's important that you keep up these drills at least every other day and for the required amount of time. This helps ensure what you're learning becomes habit.
I was really quite impressed with the whole format and presentation of the book. If something isn't working for you, chances are another quick glance at the text and diagrams will show you where it's going wrong. I especially found the diagrams helpful, they really helped visualise what the text was telling me to do. One thing I'd suggest is to print out the diagrams on their own, if possible, and keep them with your golf equipment (or, even better, view them on a pad, if you're lucky enough to own one).
Your new swing may feel a little alien at first, but this is going to be the case if you change the way you do something in any sport. If you keep at it you'll be very surprised at how quickly it becomes both more comfortable and natural to your game.
The Simple Golf Swing will certainly increase the success of your swing, although the amount will generally depend on what score you currently shoot. If you're already sub 80, you're not likely to see that amount, but you will see an improvement of a couple of shots. However, if you're shooting around the 90 mark, these claims are very plausible.
In truth, I'm not sure guaranteeing the results is a wise thing to do, not because I don't think it's a great product (it certainly is), but because the author hasn't taken into account the mentality and habits of the reader. Follow the instructions, and you will benefit. Go into it half motivated and not giving it the time it deserves, and you'll fail. This absolutely does not reflect the product, but rather the user. As with everything in life, you put the effort in and you'll reap the rewards.
All in all, whatever you shoot, I firmly believe the improvement is worth many times the cost of this ebook.
